August 6, 2008 ::: C-20 CLS Program

Northrop Grumman Technical Services and M7 Aero won the C-20 CLS Contract from Tinker AFB!! Datawrite consultants directed the proposal for the support of the C-20 fleet including Air Force, Navy, Marines and Army. Datawrite helped form the team, developed strategies, storyboards, first draft, Red Team Draft and final draft in forty-five days between two separate physical sites. This required the team to be picked up and moved from San Antonio to Albuquerque for the final phases of review and development. Chet Shinaman wrote the Executive Summary and book bossed the technical volume in addition to managing the team and its remote contributors.

July, 2008 ::: CECOM To Release Draft ACS RFP

CECOM will release the first draft of the next generation Aerial Common Sensor in August, 2008. Industry Day was held in May. This solicitation is meant to fix the problems that were the outcome of the 2003-4 competition. Rather than launch a single stage full-up solution, this RFP requires a four increment approach that gradually expands functionality through a careful integration of complex multiple sensors. Datawrite's Chet Shinaman helped lead the 2003-2004 ACS proposal for Northrop Grumman.



February 29, 2008 ::: Northrop Grumman Corporation WINS the KC-45A Tanker competition!!!!!

Datawrite Congratulates the Northrop Grumman / EADS Team for winning this important $40b plus contract and beating the Boeing Corporation. Datawrite President, Chet Shinaman is proud to be a part of that winning team. He had the opportunity to be the Technical Book Boss and act as back-up Proposal Manager on this monumental effort in Melbourne, FL. He had the privilege of working for this worldwide team of aviation experts on a daily basis. Their dedication to this effort is obvious in this winner take all competition. Over 25,000 jobs will be created as the result of this stunning victory. Both the United States of America and the Warfighter are the biggest winners in this decision by the United States Air Force.



April - June 2007 ::: E-2D for the UAE

Datawrite managed an E-2D surveillance aircraft solution for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from a current USN offering. Reviewed and led strategy and discriminator development; led technical team and CONOPS presentation through all bid phases and reviews against a Boeing offering. Led team through response building and graphics conceptualization to final submittal for this foreign military sale (FMS).



December 2006 - March 2007 ::: - Air Force KC-30 Tanker Program

- Direct subcontractor to Northrop Grumman. Assistant Proposal Manager and Technical Book Boss. A $40 billion plus KC-30 proposal against Boeing's 767 replacement for the KC-135. Managed day-to-day technical response development. When Proposal Manager directed, managed all upper management interfaces. Collected data, conducted one-on-one reviews with the director of Business Development. Reported to the Sr. Vice President of Engineering and the Program Manager. Conceptualized and wrote the lead-in to the Mission Capability/ Proposal Risk Volume. Conducted daily Stand-up status meetings for all volumes. Reported to weekly Leadership meetings as needed. Prepared for all major reviews and worked one-on-one with all technical leads. Led the team through all major review preparation and final Technical Proposal Development.
